Q-tips Cute Tips

My number one use for a Q-tip is to dry between my baby's cute little toes after a bath! Q-tips are especially useful when they are newborns and their toes are so tiny that it's difficult to dry inbetween their toes with thick towels and rags.

I also use Q-tips for other purposes such as cleaning my baby's outer ear (note that a Q-tip should never be used to remove wax from baby's inner ear as this can have damaging effects.), applying any topical ointments, applying diaper rash cream and the list goes on.

Retailing under $4 it certainly is a good buy for baby and definitely a must have item for baby's on the go first aid and grooming kit!

A little device I'd recommend for pacifier loving babies (or even just those who will take a pacifier) is the @safety_1st comfort check pacifier! The bonus pack also comes with a pacifier medicine dispenser. This combo has given me the confidence I needed when baby had to get the first set of immunization shots. I simply threw it in the diaper bag and started fever checking and continued at home for the 2 weeks following. Luckily, baby didn't get a fever this round, so I didn't have to use the medicine dispenser. I'm glad I have these two handy devices to face future rounds of baby immunization. It also is the best kind of budget thermometer for vacation and travel. As baby's safety comes first, this is definitely a top 10 baby must have in my books.

It’s already cold and flu season and another baby essential that I have in my motherhood toolkit is everything Vicks! I really do believe that the big box retailers should carry a gift set of various Vicks products for new moms. This would make the perfect baby registry item.

Healthcare and grooming for baby is a must so we had to get this Safety First kit that had all the things we were looking for at a really good price. it really is a convenient an must have kit for out of town trips. Our baby caught a cold while we were on Summer vacation and it was great to have everything in this go to pouch. We even added Vitamin D drops and and Tylenol to the pouch which came in very handy. 

We've seen many variations of the Safety First Kit on the market and it all boils down to the personal needs of the parent and child but it's definitely worth having one and customizing along the way.

Graco Children Graco Glider Lx with Plug, Waterloo

I personally knew (in my heart) that for a swing/glider it had to be the @graco Glider LX Waterloo. My nephew had the exact one as a baby and I had personal success getting him to take long naps in it. I have the memory of him being able to walk and still climbing into this glider to take a nap. Love the sound features on it and the fact that it can support bigger babies (up to 30 pds). Although it was a gift, we would still buy it if we had to because baby got a lot of mileage out of this one. 

Update: We ran into an issue where the sound feature started to short circuit on the swing. We were directed by Amazon to call Graco and it was such a great customer service experience and replacement process. Once I sent all the required information the new product was at my door within two days.
